Holby City star Jeremy Sheffield became the third celebrity to be voted off Dancing on Ice after a skate-off with Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies.
The two celebs were voted in the bottom two by the public, but the five judges unanimously opted to save Davies.
Judge Jason Gardiner said: "Considering he's a dancer, or used to be, it looks like he's never danced."
On leaving the ice show, Sheffield, a former ballet dancer said: "I'm disappointed obviously but I'm ever so slightly relieved that I'm not going to be in so much pain."
The remaining celebrities in the competition are actors Danny Young, Emily Atack, Kieron Richardson, Gary Lucy, Daniella Westbrook and former Emmerdale actress Hayley Tamaddon, Gordon Ramsay's wife Tana Ramsay, charity campaigner Heather Mills, and Boyzone member Mikey Graham.
Sheffield, 43, did not get the lowest score of the night, however. GMTV's Dr Hilary Jones gained that honour with a score of 7.5 out of 30 after he stumbled on the ice.
Meanwhile, Actress Hayley Tamaddon got the highest score, on what was the star's 33rd birthday.
