Reality TV celebrity Paris Hilton is dreaming of a wedding fit for a queen, quite literally.

The Simple Life star says she has her heart set on marrying her Greek shipping heir boyfriend at St Paul's Cathedral of Westminster Abbey.

The American IT girl, who bizarrely has the same first name as her fianc Paris Latsis, has even written to Buckingham Palace asking permission, the Daily Mirror reports.

"I've always wanted to be a princess on my big day and only a wedding in England could make that happen. I'm the closest thing to American royalty anyway," said Paris.

"I've got my heart set on a ceremony at St Paul's or Westminster but I've had to write to the Prince to ask for dispensation."

"I really want to get married at Christmas though, as I'd love to have snow and log fires, so Windsor is a cool back-up. Prince Charles got married there, so it's good enough for me," she added.

Meanwhile, away from Paris' heady romantic dreams, little love has been lost between the barmy blonde and her Simple Life co-star Nicole Richie.

Plans for a fourth series of the show are reportedly under threat after a bust-up between the two former best friends, with rumours that Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberley could become Paris' new reality TV buddy.
