Hero Groom Saves Life Of Guest

A groom transformed into a hero for saving the life of one of his guests at his wedding.

30-year-old Cody Campbell interrupted his best man’s speech to save the life of his new wife’s relative who had trouble breathing.

 

Cody’s best man and father’s speech turned into a shocking premonition. Just as he finished saying “If ever I’m in a position where I need a fireman to help me, damn, I hope it’s you, or I hope it’s someone like you” someone was heard yelling “Oh God, she’s choking!”

 

Cody, without hesitation, helped one of his wife’s relatives who reportedly choked on some steak. He said: “I heard a couple of people yell ‘My God, she’s choking!’… I just went back on my training and performed the Heimlich, and after about five or six thrusts, a piece of meat became dislodged from her throat.”

 

His new wife, Kelly, was full of praise saying that her new husband helped without “any hesitation” to save her relative’s life.
