Heat Magazine's Hottest Hunks: 2014's most gorgeous guys revealed

This year’s list of “hottest hunks” compiled by Heat magazine has been headlined by Hollywood star Zac Efron.

Hollywood star Zac Efron has been named the world’s hottest hunk by Heat magazine. He ousted Tom Daley, who took the top spot last year. The 26-year-old High School Musical actor moved up three places from last year’s rundown.

According to the magazine, Efron’s topless appearance in the movie Bad Neighbours along with him having his shirt ripped off by Rita Ora at the MTV awards helped him secure the top spot.

Heat's editor-in-chief Lucie Cave said users of its website "voted in their thousands and selected Zac Efron as the hottest man alive".

One of the new entries is Northern Ireland actor Jamie Dornan who grabbed eighth place. He plays the role of Christian Grey in the highly anticipated screen adaptation of erotic novel Fifty Shades Of Grey that is set to hit cinemas next year.

Meanwhile, engaged actor George Clooney dropped 37 places to number 60. Prince Harry is at 32, down eight places from 2013.
