Residents in a quiet neighbourhood in Crosspool, Sheffield, woke up to a bizarre sight when they found 15 cows loose in their street.
Residents called the police around 7am on Saturday (May 30) as the herd was spotted along their gardens. It is believed that the cows have slipped out of a field in the nearby Mayfield Valley.
Resident of the street, Peter Swales, said: "They ended up in a neighbours' garden in the end of the street, which is a cul-de-sac.
"I have no idea what they were doing here or where they were trying to go. You don't expect to wake up to a herd of cattle in the street."
