Ex-'Baywatch' star David Hasselhoff was reportedly rushed to hospital via ambulance after an alleged bout of severe alcohol poisioning, it has been reported.
According to gossip website TMZ, paramedics were called to his LA home at 3pm on Sunday after the star's teenage daughter Hayley, 17, called her mother, Pamela Bach, stating that her father was heavily intoxicated.
TMZ said: "Hayley Hasselhoff - who was at home with David - called her mother Pamela, claiming David was extremely drunk.
"One of Pamela's friends called 911, paramedics arrived at the family's home in Encino and took him to the hospital."
Emergency services confirmed that they had visited the house, but refused to say why.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department said: "We sent an ambulance and a person was transported to a local hospital."
Hasselhoff, who is a judge on 'America's Got Talent', is understood to have been discharged on the same evening. The iconic actor and occasional singer has a history of alcohol abuse.
In May this year, Hayley saved her father's life after she found him unconscious and "barely breathing" from suspected alcohol poisoning.
