A bunch of new games and activities as well as voice identification for children have been added to Google Assistant. It can orchestrate trivia games, tell a story, start a round of musical chairs, and help with homework.
Google confirmed that it is bringing more than 50 new games and activities to the Google Home and the Google Assistant on phones. Using Family Link, parents can even give their children under 13 the ability to launch these games themselves.
In a blog post, Google said: "Monday musical chairs? Tuesday night trivia? Friday family freeze dance? Your Assistant has activities to keep everyone entertained. Talking to your Assistant (instead of staring at a screen) is an easy way to be there, in the room, spending time with loved ones. So whether you're at home on a rainy day or on a road trip, your Assistant can help you learn and have fun as a family."
