Glastonbury Council Plays Down Link to 'Anti-5G' Device

Glastonbury Town Council claims it has never recommended nor endorsed 5GBioShield.

Glaston Town Council has issued an official statement saying it has never recommended the use of 5G BioShield. It follows a report released by a security expert who took the device apart and said it is a normal USB stick contrary to claims that it can be used to protect against the supposed negative effects of 5G to health. 

 

In a statement posted on the official local government website, the council said: "Glastonbury Town Council does not, and has never recommended or endorsed the 5GBioShield or any other anti-5G devices offering protection against the supposed negative health effects of fifth-generation cellular network technology." 

 

It added that the recommendation came from "a member of the public" but did not represent the "official policy" of the council. However, documents showed that the 5GBioShield was recommended by Toby Hall, a member of the council's 5G advisory committee, who described the device as "helpful" 

 

Following the report released by the security expert, Trading Standards is set to halt the sales of the £339 device and called it a "scam". Scientists have previously assured the public that there is no evidence to support claims that mobile networks cause cancer or other illnesses.
