Glasgow to host 2018 Ideal Home Show, a three-day home exhibition extravaganza for the young and old.

The Ideal Home Show 2018, which will take place at SEC and run from May 31 to June 3, will focus on the use of technology and will help youngsters imagine what life might look like by the time they are ready to buy their own house in 15 or 20 years’ time.
According to the organisers, the Internet of Things (IoT) will undoubtedly play a key role in future homes. The three-day event will be attended by some of the most recognisable faces from the world of homes and interiors, including Phil Spencer, David Domoney, Rosemary Shrager, John Amabile, Amanda Lamb, and Kunle Barker. Attendees will have the chance to get one-on-one sessions with the experts, ranging from landscape gardeners and kitchen specialists to architects and interior designers.
Meanwhile, exhibitors, including TouchDown Charging, Hive and Glasgow Home Audio, will showcase the latest in home automation and technology with security devices, smart thermostats and sensors. The event will also be attended by nearly 400 businesses from the world of interiors, DIY and homes.
