Swipii announces plans to boost its business network by helping local retailers rebuild businesses post lockdown.

Glasgow-based cashback app Swipi has announced plans to help rebuild businesses post lockdown and help level the playing field between small local and large online retailers.

 

The fintech firm, which was launched in 2018, specialises in helping businesses increase engagement and customer spending. The app is currently being used by almost 100 businesses which are mostly located in Scotland’s central belt.

 

The company is currently working to roll out the service across the United Kingdom and is targeting hundreds of businesses as high streets begin to reopen.

 

The firm’s app is currently being used by more than 26,500 registered users. Swipii saves users money by providing cashback incentives when they shop locally with their normal bank card through cardlink technology.
