Sheryl Gascoigne has become the first celebrity to be voted out of the I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! jungle.

In the end, it was between Gazza's ex-wife and comedian Dom Joly, with Sheryl getting the boot from the public.

The news of Gascoigne's exit may come as a surprise to some, who expected Gillian McKeith to be voted out.

Forty-five-year-old Sheryl admitted that she was relieved to have left camp and was "pleased" to be out.

She spoke to Ant and Dec following her exit, saying: "It wasn't that bad. There's only so much damp and darkness and rain and wet towels you can take.

"The last three or four days with the rain and the prison experience wasn't good, but yeah, I enjoyed it."
