French police teams have made public a sketch of a man they are desperate to contact regarding last year's French Alps murders.
The black and white pencil drawing shows man with a beard wearing a distinctive side-opening motorcyclist's helmet.
The helmet is of particular importance as - if it is the same one as described by the witness - only 8,000 were produced in that dark colour.
"The only helmet on the market that matches this description is the ISR-type GPA helmet," police said in a statement.
Three members of a British-Iraqi family and a French cyclist were shot on 5 September near Lake Annecy. It was first believed that the cyclist was a passer-by although he may have actually been the target and the family could have been the passer-bys. The family's two young daughters survived by hiding from the onslaught.
Eyewitnesses saw a motorcyclist on the road leading to the murder scene.
Police are also looking for a right-hand drive BMW 4x4 also spotted close to the scene.
