A woman is currently being investigated after she got stuck in the chimney of a man she reportedly met online.
The Ventura County Fire Department in California had to help 28-year-old Genoveva Nunez-Figueroa write free using soapy water after she allegedly tried to break into the Thousand Oaks home at around 5:45am yesterday.
ABC7 reported that the male resident admitted to going to few dates with the suspect but recently ended the romance before it blossomed. He also revealed that Nunez was seen on his roof two weeks prior and that he had to call the police following the incident.
“I'm going to be a little more cautious of who I invite into my house now,” he said.
“We hung out a couple of times and you never know how crazy somebody is until they do crazy things, and this is a pretty crazy thing.”
After Nunez was hoisted from roof using ladder truck and stokes basket, she was taken to hospital for treatment. She was later charged with illegal entry and providing a police office with false information.
