Sam Mitchell is to be arrested after falling victim to a vicious set-up.

A cunning ploy from Chrissie leaves Kim Medcalf's character as the number one suspect for the murder of Dirty Den, played by Leslie Grantham.

And when police turn up to arrest Sam, the Queen Vic landlady is devastated and instantly realises that Chrissie, played by Tracy Ann Oberman, has set her up.

Sam saw Chrissie murder Den in her pub and has been blackmailing poor Chrissie ever since.

But she gains her vengeance in a surprise tactic and Sam is left shell-shocked.

"Sam is arrested during Dennis and Sharon's wedding," a BBC insider confirmed to the Sun.

"You will have to wait and see if she is charged."
