Footballer Under A Voodoo Curse?
Newcastle United Star uses voodoo-style ritual to end rival’s goal drought "curse."

Newcastle striker Papiss Cisse was convinced that he had stopped scoring due to voodoo-style curse after his run of sensational goals came to a sudden end. Thus, he asked a team-mate to undo it in a special ritual. After his teammate Cheick Tiote helped him lift the blight, returned to his winning ways.
A Newcastle insider said: “It’s one of those things you really couldn’t believe at first.
"Papiss is very superstitious and became convinced of the curse.”
“Cheick is Papiss’s good friend so he agreed to it, even though it involved various bits of hocus pocus.”
Meanwhile, agent Madou Diene, said: “Maybe it’s psychological.”
But he added: “People talk about these things sometimes. They are friends.”
And he joked: “If Cheick would have done that, he’d have done it for himself to score goals also.”
Tiote's agent Emanuele Palladino denied the player had taken part in the ceremony.
He said: "Cheick is focused on training and playing football for Newcastle. Headlines like these are an unwelcome distraction for Cheick and he will not be commenting further on the matter."
