Researchers have compiled a list of the top 10 best and worst countries to eat. Criteria used include whether people have enough to eat, whether people can afford to eat, whether the food is of good quality, and the extent of diet related diseases.
Based on these factors, The Netherlands was named the best country to eat in due to its comparatively low food prices, low diabetes levels, and better nutritional diversity than European rivals. France and Switzerland followed.
On the other hand, Chad was listed as the worst place to eat as the food is of little nutritional value, it is expensive, and is prepared with limited access to good hygienic conditions. Other countries that made this list include Ethiopia and Angola.
When it comes to affordability, USA is on top of the list while Angola is at the bottom.
The Oxfam report also shows that Burundi has the most number of people who are undernourished (67per cent) while 35per cent of children are underweight.
