Flexible Internet Speeds and Pricing
6G Internet Launches Britain’s First Network with Flexible Speeds and Pricing Plans
12:16 20 September 2018
6G Internet, a communications technology company that offers wireless internet access with 6G Air fibre technology in the United Kingdom, is set to launch the first home broadband with flexible speeds. The service allows users to change their price plans and internet speeds at any time. Users can switch from a range of monthly plans, ranging from £9.99 per month for 5MB up to £24.99 for 40 Mb. Those under the initial 24-month contract are also given a payment holiday once every 12 months enabling them to be connected to 2.5 Mb internet for free for a month.
Chris Baldock, chairman of 6G, said: “With our wireless broadband network, we want to put control of the internet back into the hands of the customers. We want them to get the speeds that they pay for every time, whenever they want, for as long as they need. It’s about having the flexibility to pick and choose the internet that suits their life.”
6G Internet, which is already servicing about 1,500 customers in 36 towns and cities in the North of England, hopes to increase the numbers of their users to 4 million within the next three years.
“Historically, people who want broadband have only really had one choice, which was internet calculated at a single average speed and delivered via cables,” Chris says. “We are offering flexible guaranteed speeds, topped up or reduced down at the touch of a button and delivered using some of the most advanced wireless technology in the world. We think it’s a choice worth considering.”
