Corrie's Scooter continues his unhealthy interest in goldfish when he and girlfriend Sarah steal some from a garden pool - and are forced to go on the run.

Scooter, who recently gave Sarah's family some of the pets as an obscure gift, spots the expensive Koi carp while out collecting rubbish one day.

He enlists the help of his girlfriend, played by Tina O'Brien, to nab the pricey fish - a daring stunt that strangely gets her all excited.

Dragging a startled Scooter, played by Sushil Chudasama, to bed, Sarah compares the crazy pair to criminal couple Bonnie and Clyde, the Daily Star reports.

Luckily things end a little better for the Weatherfield couple than their more famous counterparts - as a shoot-out might be a bit much for soap viewers.

But the dynamic duo do end up getting caught for their ridiculous crime and teen mum Sarah is lumped with a big fine.
