Friends star David Schwimmer has announced that he and his wife, Zoe Buckman, are expecting their first child together.

The 44-year-old married British photographer Buckman back in June and they have now revealed that they are going to be parents for the first time.

A representative for the couple confirmed the news, telling EW.com: "They couldn't be more thrilled."

The couple met when Schwimmer was in London, directing the film Run, Fat Boy, Run starring Simon Pegg.
