Fire HD 10 with Hands-free Alexa

Amazon’s high definition tablet, Fire HD 10, is finally here.

Amazon has announced its Fire HD 10 tablet that features 1080p display, 10.1-inch screen, and a hands-free Alexa that performs much as the Echo speaker does. With a £150 price tag, it targets the lower-end of the tablet market. However, cheap as it is, it looks and feels premium.

 

Because of its hands-free Alexa capability, it can be used to control a range of smart home devices and automate mundane tasks, such as adjusting the thermostat, switching the lights on or off, and connecting the home security camera. It can also provide users with weather updates, answer trivia questions, and even control video playback.

 

The Fire HD 10 starts shipping in 11 October.
