The iPhone 7 is expected to launch in September, featuring a great new design and exciting new features.
Apple is expected to release its next-generation iPhone with the promise of innovative new features and a jaw-dropping design.

Since the 3GS was launched in 2009, Apple has used an alternating “S” naming formula where the iPhone does not receive a major design. Since its last phone is the iPhone 6s, the next generation iPhone is expected to be called the iPhone 7. However, there have been rumours suggesting that Apple could drop its standard number naming convention and may call the next iPhone, the “iPhone Pro.”
There have been unconfirmed reports that the iPhone 7 would be released the week of September 12 and that pre-orders would likely being on September 09. Based on the company’s past timelines, the Apple announcement may happen on the preceding Tuesday or Wednesday (the 5th or 6th), followed by pre-orders starting on Friday the 9th. If accurate, iOS 10 will be launched on the 15th and the iPhone 7 will hit the stores on the 16th.
There are rumours that the new iPhone will no longer feature the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack. New convincing images that surfaced online show new images of Lightning to 3.5 adapter. With that, the new smartphone is expected to come with updated EarPods that connect via Lighting or other technology such as Bluetooth.
Many predict that iPhone 7 will feature a redesigned home button. According to Business Insider’s coverage of the report: "Instead of a physical mechanism, Apple will use its 'Force Touch' technology and a motor inside the iPhone to provide the sensation that the button is being physically depressed."
The exterior changes are expected to be rather minimal, with the iPhone 7 having identical bezels and screen sizes, looking pretty much like clones of the iPhone 6/6S and 6/6S Plus.
As for the camera, many sources are expecting iPhone 7 to feature a dual-camera module that offers flexible photography options including wider-angle shots. Meanwhile, Steve Hemmerstoffer of Nowhereelse.fr, said that iPhone 7 will have an amazing battery upgrade with up to 14per cent bump in capacity, which translates to 12.5 hours of video playback time instead of just 11 hours.
Many are also claiming that the reason why Apple is moving away from headphone jack is because it is fully waterproof. On the component front, an analyst firm predicted that the new smartphone would have 256 of storage space while the 5.5-inch model will get a memory boost to 3GB.
Meanwhile, iOS 10 will include 3D Touch Integration, in-notification responses, faster access to apps and widgets from the lock screen, and live video notifications. It will also have VoIP calling as well as a technology that filters out phone spam while messages will support rich content, bigger emoji with predictions, handwriting, invisible ink and sketches.
Other analysts have predicted that the new iPhone will have a curved display. In 2015, Apple filed a patent for a transparent fingerprint sensor embedded into a smartphone display and this is expected to be used in iPhone 7.
