Festival Fever

Calvin Harris, Kasabian, Example, Tove Lo, and Mark Ronson will perform at V Festival on 22 and 23 August.

More and more artists have been confirmed to perform at V Festival, which is topped by Calvin Harris and Kasabian. Among them are Example, Tove Lo, and Mark Ronson who will perform on 22 and 23 August at Hyland Park in Essex and Weston Park in Staffordshire to celebrate 20 years since V Festival has been created. 

 

Meanwhile, Sir Tom Jones is confirmed to be one of the special guests. 

 

Other artists that were previously confirmed include Hozier, Fuse ODG, Labrinth, Clean Bandit, Ella Eyre, Stereophonics and Chrvches, as well as Ella Henderson, The Proclaimers, and Grandmaster Flash.

 

Sam Smith, despite undergoing surgery on his vocal chords, is also set to perform. 

 

Former JLS star Aston Merrygold will perform as a solo artist. 

 

He said: "It's going to be great fun! It has definitely been tough trying to contain myself, sitting on my hands waiting to get out there with new material, so I can't wait to finally share my music with everyone...bring it on!"

 

On the other hand, the comedy tent will be headlined by the likes of Russell Kane and Frankie Boyle.
