Facebook Smart Speakers Due July 2018

Facebook to launch two speakers by July, reports claimed.

Facebook is entering the smart home automation market with its very own smart speakers, which are code named Aloha and Fiona, reports have claimed. Industry sources said that the speakers will feature 15-inch LG touchscreens.

 

In August, similar reports have surfaced claiming that Facebook is working on at east two separate speakers with Apple “Siri-style” voice assistants. It added that one of the gadgets has a laptop-like screen that could be released as soon as the spring.

 

Facebook is also investing in the music and video industry, closing a deal with Sony earlier this year and has talked to media buyers about expanding its watch video tab to compete with YouTube.
