Ex-soap star in nude show

Former EastEbnders star Jill Halfpenny will bare all in her new role on the West End stage.

The actress, who played Kate Mitchell in the BBC soap, has landed a part in the stage adaptation of 'Calendar Girls' alongside a host of other soap stars.

Former Hollyoaks' actress Gemma Atkinson, EastEnders' star June Brown, Anita Dobson, Sara Crowe, Jill Baker and Jerry Hall will all go completely nude for the production.

'Calendar Girls' is inspired by the true story of the group of Yorkshire women who went naked for a Women's Institute calendar in 1999.

It was made in to a film in 2003 film starring Julie Walters and Dame Helen Mirren.

The play is now on at London's Nol Coward Theatre until October 17 and the booking fee of 1.50 will be donated to charity.

It also stars former EastEnders actor Jack Ryder as the photographer Lawrence.
