A virtual Remembrance Sunday Service will be streamed on Facebook on Sunday morning, Exeter council has confirmed. Exeter City Council and Devon County Council decided to not conduct a live public service due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The service will show the laying of wreaths by various dignitaries, which have been filmed in advance, and will be streamed from 10.59 am on 8 November. Some of the footage was provided by The Salamanca Band & Bugles of The Rifles & Director of Music and Exeter College’s UAL Diploma Media & Performing Arts Team.
Meanwhile, Devon Council will be holding a small flag ceremony on November 11 at the County Hall while Exeter Cathedral will be streaming their own service from 10.45am on Sunday.
