Ex-BBC Radio 1 DJ Dave Lee Travis, whose real name is David Patrick Griffin, is already facing 11 indecent assault charges and one more sexual assault. However, reports confirmed that the 68-year-old is now facing more sex offences after he was accused of assaulting a woman age 16 between January 1, 1992 and December 31, 1993.
Mr Travis will appear on bail at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on October 03.
Appearing in court at Old Bailey on September 6, the former DJ has pled not guilty to the first 12 charges.
These allegations date from 1977 to 2007 and relate to nine female complainants aged between 15 and 29 at the time.
He was first charged on August 15 as part of the Operation Yewtree, which was launched in the wake of sexual offence allegations against Radio 1 DJ Jimmy Savile.
Mr Travis was released on bail at his last court appearance with conditions that he does not contact the alleged victims and that he lives at his home.
