Evan Ross cast as Messala in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay”

Ashlee Simpson’s beau lands a role in the third instalment of the Hunger Games.

It’s official! Evan Ross, Diana Ross’ son and Ashlee Simpson’s boyfriend has been cast in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay as confirmed in Hunger Games and Lionsgate’s official Twitter accounts.

LionsgateNews wrote: Evan Ross cast as Messalla in @TheHungerGames: Mockingjay Parts 1&2. Stef Dawson, on the other hand, was also cast as Victor from District 4.

The second instalment of the popular franchise, which stars Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, and Jennifer Lawrence will open on November 22 in America.

Meanwhile, Mockingjay Part 1 is expected to be released in 2014 and the second part on November 20, 2015.
