Eurovision 2019, one of the world's biggest televised events is estimated to have 200 million viewers.

This marked the 64th edition of the song contest which took place in Tel Aviv – Israel. This is following the victory of Israel in the 2018 contest held in Lisbon – Portugal. The song contest has been hosted by Israel for the third time – 1stin 1979 and 2nd in 1999. The contest consisted of 2 semi-finals and the final was held on the 18th of May 2019.
Hosts
Erez Tal – With 25 years of broadcasting experience, Tal developed, produced and hosted a number of primetime hits. This includes ten seasons of the hit reality show Big Brother. He is also well-known for creating and hosting TV gameshow The Vault. Making it the most successful Israeli game show format in the world, The Vault was sold to 23 territories worldwide. Tal also featured as KAN's Eurovision commentator in 2018.
Assi Azar – Azar is one of Israel's top television hosts and screenwriters. His credits include hosting Israel's Rising Star, the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. He was featured among the 100 Most Influential Gay People global listing by OUT Magazine.
Bar Refaeli – an international supermodel. Refaeli is one of the first Israeli models to appear on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. She has a bag-full of experience in presenting and broadcasting. In 2012, she created her own model casting show - Million Dollar Shooting Star. with a successful modelling career, Refaeli also hosted several primetime TV shows, such as the Israeli version of The X Factor in 2013.
Lucy Ayoub – She is Israel's most promising new talent. Ayoub became famous as an increasingly influential YouTuber. She has grown to become a famous TV host and delivered the results of the Israeli jury at the Eurovision 2018 Song Contest. This year 2019, Ayoub hosted the Green Room of Eurovision 2019 song contest.
Semi-Finalist
The first semi-final
The first semi-final was held on 14th of May 2019. This round consisted of 17 countries, including Cyprus, Montenegro, Poland, Finland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Belarus, Serbia, Belgium, Georgia, Australia, Iceland, Estonia, Portugal, Greece and San Marino. Together with these countries, France, Israel and Spain voted in this semi-final round. The countries qualified for the final are the highlighted ones.
The Second Semi-final
This last round was held on 16th of May 2019 in which 18 countries participated. The Second Semi-final participants are Armenia, Ireland, Moldova, Switzerland, Latvia, Romania, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, Croatia, Malta, Lithuania, Russia, Albania, Norway, Netherlands, North Macedonia and Azerbaijan. The highlighted countries were qualified for the final. Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom along with the selected ones are the ones who voted in the second semi-final.
Who Won Eurovision 2019
Duncan Laurence is the great winner of Eurovision 2019 song contest. Netherland took the trophy home after a decade. Laurence gave a new turn to the game by winning the contest. For 44 long years, the country missed out on the first place. With 492 Points, Laurence won Eurovision 2019 with his song Arcade.
