Epping Forest CCTV Cameras
New CCTV cameras to be installed across Epping Forest to improve safety and security.

A raft of new CCTV cameras is set to be installed across the district. The council is in the process of installing a CCTV system at Norway House, the council’s homeless hostel in North Weald. More cameras will be installed later this year when six homeless pods are put in place.
CCTV cameras will also be installed along High Road Epping and at Quaker Lane Car Park. Meanwhile, the council is finalising the design for the CCTV system that will be used to cover the residential area and shopping precinct at Hill House and Leisure Centre.
The council’s CCTV systems have proved to be useful in recent months. Footage has been used to capture flytippers in the act as well as track down a robber who targeted an elderly man at an ATM in Loughton.
