Internet Of Beers
IoT can now also be used in permeating the fine art of beer making.

Business software makers Zoomdata and Informatica has announced this week that they are developing a software to help a large, unnamed European beer maker check the quality of its products, from the brewery to the pub. The software will monitor temperature and pressure of the beer in the tap in real time; such information can help in determining inventory and quality levels.
This “Internet of Beers” scenario uses Informatica’s Intelligent Streaming software that collects and transmits real-time data which Zoomdata’s visualisation tool put in charts so users can easily understand them. The system will be pitched at the Informatica World Conference in San Francisco this week.
The Internet of Beers scenario has already been pitched by another company in February. Beer Maker MillerCoors previewed Miller Lite On-Demand, a service that allows customers to order beer from home through their Amazon Echo connected device or re-stock by pressing a connected Amazon Dash button dedicated to MillerCoors products.
Another company, SteadyServ, has also offered a cloud-based beer inventory management system that uses connected sensors to determine factors that affect inventory levels.
