Drummer Lee Rigby’s Funeral held
Lee Rigby, who was killed in the horrific Woolwich attack, takes place in Greater Manchester

The funeral of Fusilier Lee Rigby, of the 2nd Battalion Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, will be held today, Friday, 12th July, 2013.
The service is expected to take place at 11am and will be held at Bury Parish Church, which is in Greater Manchester. The Fusilier will receive a full military funeral.
He was killed in a horrific attack in Woolwich, London, in May this year.
It is understood that the service of Fusilier Lee Rigby, aged 25, from Middleton, Greater Manchester, will be played out outside.
Reportedly there will be a private service held at Middleton Cemetery following this.
The family of Fusilier Lee Rigby has offered their thanks for all of the support they have been receiving from people ‘across the world’.
His widow Rebecca expressed that: “There are so many kind and generous people out there.”
The Fusilier’s mother Lyn said: “We have received overwhelming support from the public, friends, family.
Adding: “We have had thousands of cards, with kind words. That basically has given us the strength to get through this time.”
His funeral comes after a vigil was held on Thursday night, 11th July.
The two men accused of killing the soldier are Michael Adebolajo, aged 28, from London, and Michael Adebowale, who is 22 years old and also from London.
Fusilier Lee Rigby leaves behind a son, who is two years old.
