The son of Michael Douglas has been arrested in a New York hotel on a drugs charge.

According to reports, Cameron Douglas was allegedly caught with $18,000 worth of crystal meth in an undercover operation.

The 30-year-old, who has acted in 'It Runs In The Family' with his father and grandfather, Kirk Douglas, was arrested on July 28 on a methamphetamine-dealing charge at the Hotel Gansevoort in Manhattan.

Cameron has been arrested for drugs before; when in 2007 he was given cocaine possession charges. He has also spent time in rehab.

As of yet, Michael Douglas' spokesman and the U.S. attorney's office in Manhattan have made no comment.

Cameron is the son of Diandra Luker, Michael Douglas' first wife. The couple divorced in 2000 after 23 years of marriage.
