Dirty Den will appear in time for his daughter Sharon's wedding to stepbrother Dennis, despite being dead.
Sharon is looking for her good-for-nothing father so that he can give her away, but doesn't realise that he is buried under the Queen Vic cellar.
And after being taken down the aisle by Chrissie, Den's widow and murderer, she is in for a horrific surprise when she returns to the pub for her reception.
Den's grave is discovered and dug up on Sharon's big day - surely that's enough to unsettle even Walford's most resilient woman.
Chrissie, who killed Dirty Den with a doorstop, gets away with it as Sam Mitchell (played by Kim Medcalfe) is arrested for the murder.
But speculation is still rife over the eventual fate of the husband-killer, since Tracy-Ann Oberman, who plays Chrissie, is set to leave the London-based soap shortly.
