Big Brother housemate Derek has launched a damning attack on the antics of his fellow contestants.
In a diary room rant, the Tory speechwriter even compared the bad behaviour in the Big Brother house to life inside the House of Commons.
Derek confessed his disgust to Big Brother after learning that Maxwell had secretly added cans of cider to last week's shopping list and then stashed his contraband cans away.
He dubbed his housemates "valueless, faceless people, parading about for the sake of the cameras".
"People lie and cheat and steal. This is not a happy house, it reminds me of the House of Commons," he said.
Meanwhile Maxwell, unperturbed by his own dishonesty, has set-up a black market operation, adding to his stash of contraband booze by doing deals with other housemates and swapping biscuits for alcohol.
"You're expensive at your shop, Maxwell," complained Vanessa after trading in her bottle of beer for three biscuits.
Maxwell even tried to use his stash of cider to buy the affections of Saskia after his flirting hit a brick wall on Saturday night.
"We'll get p*****d up? Yeah?" he asked Saskia seductively.
But despite accepting his offer of alcohol, it seems that money (or indeed cider) really can't buy you love and Saskia is still rejecting the wannabe lothario's advances.
Clearly the sight of Maxwell dressed in a stetson for last night's barn dance had failed to impress her.
Big Brother thrilled the contestants by throwing the dance for the housemates after they successfully completed yesterday's chicken task, which saw them each care for their own egg while dressed in fluffy yellow chicken suits.
Sadly, Makosi's run of bad luck continued and she was excluded from enjoying the barbecue and country music Big Brother laid on after accidentally dropping her egg on the floor.
