Denbighshire Council Broadband Advice
Denbighshire County Council offers solutions to residents experiencing slow internet connection.

Denbighshire Council has suggested a few 'small tweaks' to some residents who are experiencing slow internet connection during the current lockdown.
A spokesperson from the local authority said: "A cheap or faulty landline phone can cause interference and slow connection speed. Sometimes, this can be heard as crackles when speaking on the phone. This interference will reduce your internet speed. Even cheap or faulty phone extension cables can cause noise and signal loss. If unplugging the phone or cable increases the connection speed, then they will need replacing.
"Most people still use the original ADSL filters sent by your internet provider with your modem. These filters can be plugged into the phone sockets for years and never replaced, even when they change routers and are provided with brand new filters.
"These filters wear out and when they do, they cause interference."
