Three big names in comedy now stars in a new primetime panel show on BBC1. David Walliams, Frank Skinner, and Greg Davies have just come together to film the pilot episode of their new show called I Love My Country. BBC bosses hope to get the first series completed and ready to air before summer ends.
After the first recording, an audience member described the show as “very funny.” The show, where celebrities have to compete with one another and prove that they had the best knowledge of Britain, also largely benefited from the inspired team-up of hosts.
“Frank just kept winding up David all the way through that he wasn’t doing his job right,” explained the audience. “But David took it in the right way and gave as good as he got.”
The three new BBC hosts are said to share a ‘great chemistry’ together.
David Walliams is the comedian, author, and actor best known for his TV sketch show little Britain and his stint judging in Britain’s Got Talent’s sixth season. Frank Skinner, on the other hand, is a comedy veteran and a radio presenter with a Saturday morning slot. Greg Davies, a Welsh stand-up comedian and actor best known for BBC’s Live at the Apollo series, completes the team-up.
