Former BBC radio DJ Dave Lee Travis has been found not guilty of 12 charges but verdicts are still pending two other charges against him.
Speaking outside the court, Travis declared: "I am not over the moon about any of this today. I do not feel like there is a victory in any way, shape or form.
"On the contrary, I think you already know that I have been through a year and a half of hell on this."
The 68-year-old also revealed that he was forced to sell his home just to pay his legal fees.
The four week trial concerned incidents reported by 11 women between 1976 and 2008.
Travis was released on bail but will be back in court on February 24th to find out if the two remaining charges will warrant a retrial.
The ex Top of the Pops presenter summarised himself to the court by saying: "I'm a normal, decent human being. I play jokes on people. I cuddle people. And if there have been some sexual interactions in the past, it has been consensual."
Travis maintained his innocence throughout the trial and was tried under his real name of David Patrick Griffin.
