Corrie's Danny Baldwin is set to get a big shock when he learns that a liaison with Sunita Parekh has left the shop stunner pregnant.

Danny, played by Bradley Walsh, heads north from his native Essex after his wife has an affair with his best mate.

Cruising down the Street in a Porsche, Mike's nephew causes quite a stir, and he seeks solace from his lonely nights from Sunita, played by Shobna Gulati.

But after a little 'comfort' the naughty nephew of Corrie's own Iron Mike gives Sunita the heave-ho after his cheating wife comes crawling back.

"Danny's smarting after [his wife] Frankie cheated on him with his best pal and he's out to get his own back," a Street insider told the Daily Star today.

"Sunita is just a bit of comfort when he first arrives and he soon blows her out."

But not everything can be swept under the carpet that easily, as Sunita returns with the bombshell that she is pregnant.

However, Corrie bosses have not made up their minds on what happens next.

"It has yet to be decided whether she has the baby, loses it, or if the whole thing is just a big scare," the soap insider added.

"Whatever the outcome, Danny will never forget his fling with the girl from the corner shop."
