Bookies favourite Sam Attwater has been crowned the Dancing on Ice 2011 champion, following Sunday's grand final.
The final saw 24-year-old Sam and his partner Brianne Delcourt triumph after dancing the bolero, despite fellow contestant Laura Hamilton scoring perfect 10s for her performance.
Former Eastenders star Sam praised Brianne as he lifted the winner's trophy, saying:
"I've had the time of my life. I've made a friend for life and I wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for Brianne."
Presenter Laura came second in the show, followed by Chloe Madeley who came in third.
Sam gained the most viewers votes and topped the leader board for his skating performances to Footloose, Riverdance and a take on Torvill and Dean's bolero.
Runner-up Laura graciously accepted defeat, saying:
"It's been such an incredible experience. I've lived, breathed, slept ice skating for the last six, seven months.
"100% I'm gonna continue skating."
When asked to sum up his experience on the show, Attwater told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby:
"It feels amazing and I don't want to do what everyone does but I have to say thank you to everyone
"There's so many people here and I've had the time of my life and it's all down to them."
