Tap-dancing sensation Lionel Blair wants to join the cast of Albert Square - as Peggy Mitchell's husband.
The 73-year-old, best known for his performances on 80s quiz show Give Us A Clue, said he would love to try his hand as a Walford local.
And he reckons he could make a convincing husband for Peggy, played by Barbara Windsor, The Sun reports.
The 67-year-old Carry On star only recently agreed to return to the ailing show after being off sick for more than two years with a virus.
"I'd love to be offered something in EastEnders. I'd love to play Barbara Windsor's husband," Blair said.
Sadly, there is unlikely to be room for any more men in Peggy's life - no matter how well they dance - with news that her sons Phil and Grant are making a shock return to the Square.
