The Daleks will return for Doctor Who’s 50th anniversary special.

On November 23rd, the TV show Doctor Who will celebrate its 50th anniversary and they will have the Daleks as special guests.  The episode will also bring back the villainous Zygons.

Steven Moffat, the programme’s lead writer said: “The Doctor once said that you can judge a man by the quality of his enemies, so it's fitting that for this very special episode, he should be facing the greatest enemies of all.”

Billie Piper – who played Rose Tyler, will also appear in the episode while John Hurt will play another regeneration of the Doctor, who has previously been unseen. Joanne Page will also have a role in the show.

The special episode was shot earlier this year in Cardiff and several locations in London, which include Tower of London and in Trafalgar Square.
