Peter Andre has been crowned Celebrity Dad of the Year for the second year in a row.

The reality television star beat the likes of Elton John, James Corden and David Beckham to scoop the prize.

After receiving the award, the 38-year-old father-of-two said:

"This means a huge amount to me as being a dad is my most important role.

"This feels so great. It was an honour to win last year but to still have the public's support and best wishes is a tremendous feeling."

PeterÂ’s ex-wife Katie Price has recently criticised the IÂ’m a Celeb... star for using his kids in his reality show, Peter Andre: The Next Chapter, after she decided not to feature them in her latest programme on Sky Living.

He has since insisted that being on the show wasnÂ’t harmful to his six-year-old son Junior and three-year-old daughter, Princess Tiaamii.

Andre is also stepfather to PriceÂ’s son Harvey, nine.
