Tom Cruise reportedly filled his plush Los Angeles home with roses to surprise fiancée Katie Holmes on Valentine's Day (14.02.06).

The Hollywood heavyweight also hired the Jazz Trilogy band to serenade the actress, who is expecting the couple's first baby together.

Earlier this week, Tom furiously denied claims he had split from Katie.

The star's representatives released a statement shortly after a story appeared in America's Life and Style magazine suggesting the pair had cancelled their wedding.

The publication also claimed the couple have separate bedrooms and have agreed to part after their baby is born.

It quoted insiders saying Tom and Katie's relationship was over but that they "plan to keep up the charade of a romance until after their baby's birth this spring".

But Tom's publicists, Paul Bloch and Arnold Robinson, told US TV show 'Access Hollywood': "The story is 100 percent false. They are still engaged and are moving forward with their wedding plans, as well as planning for the arrival of their child."
