Days after Toronto Mayor Rob Ford admitted to smoking crack cocaine, a video where he was threatening to murder someone has surfaced.
While pacing around and frantically waving his arms, he said: "Brother, you've never seen be f***ing go... When he's down I'll rip his f***ing throat out."
The politician says he will "make sure" the man is dead. "I just need to go, f***ing by myself, in my f***ing underwear... I need 15 minutes that's all."
Ford, who is married with two school-age children, suggested in the video that the man he wanted to kill have called him and his brothers liars and thieves. However, the video did not reveal the name of the person he was talking about.
The video was bought and shown by the Toronto Star for $5,000 from "a source who filmed it from someone else's computer". The paper said it was told "the person with the computer was there in the room".
The video surfaced just days after he admitted to smoking crack cocaine in a “drunken stupor.” He apologised on Tuesdays and said: “I have nothing left to hide.”
Ford has refused to resign or take a leave of absence despite of renewed calls for him to quit.
