They say money doesnt buy you happiness - but X Factor judge Simon Cowell just doesnt care.

There's only one thing he wants, he told the Mirror - "more money".

"If it could pour on me every day like a shower, I would lie in that shower for hours. I'm very motivated by money. I just love it."

He's equally sure of what he doesnt want - marriage or children.

He told girlfriend Terri Seymour "to buy a terrapin because they can be affectionate and we'll have a little pet".

You're tact personified, Simon.

"It didn't go down well," he admitted.

Still, at least Simon's mum knows the score.

"She once hoped I would marry and have a family," he said.

"Every mother wants to see her son happy.

"But I am quite happy. The only thing that would make me happier is more money."
