Could You Be Tesco's Untangler?

Tesco is to hire Christmas tree light untangler. To qualify, applicants must be able to untangle a set of Christmas lights in under three minutes.

Tesco is looking for applicants who can fill a position that entails untangling Christmas tree lights in under three minutes.

 

The job ad appeared in the Wrexham Leader today looking for someone who is “genuinely passionate about Christmas” and has “excellent people skills.” The ad also said that applicants must have"the ability to untangle a set of Christmas lights in under three minutes".

 

Details such as salary were not included in the ad.

 

A Tesco spokeswoman said this would be the UK's first ever dedicated Christmas Tree Lights Untangler.

 

She said: "To help locals enjoy the festive season and relieve some of the stresses often associated with the Yuletide season, specifically, tangled tree lights.

 

"Tesco has launched a search for someone who can conquer one of the most frustrating jobs of Christmas.

 

"The successful applicant will work full time in the lead up to Christmas, showing that “Every Little Helps”, lending their nimble fingers to customers while they shop.

 

"A typical day could involve untangling up to 60 sets of lights!"
