There’s a huge shock for Gail when David announces that his new girlfriend ‘Candy’ is coming to stay.

She is sick of hearing about his holiday romance but she is stunned when he tells her that Candy is coming to Weatherfield to live with them.

Gail is furious that heÂ’s throwing his life away for a girl called Candy, especially when he drops the bombshell that theyÂ’re getting married in three weeks.

However thereÂ’s an even bigger shock for both Gail and Audrey when DavidÂ’s future wife is actually revealed as BeckyÂ’s wayward sister, Kylie Turner.

Elsewhere on The Cobbles, Dev and Sunita are horrified when Steve owns up to stealing from the Corner ShopÂ’s safe on the night of the tram crash.

HeÂ’s full of guilt about BeckyÂ’s crime and wants to pay the Alahans back, so when he has a win at the casino, Steve anonymously posts the cash through their letterbox.

When Dev tells him that the police are getting close to catching the thief, to protect his wife, Steve tells them that he stole the money.
