Comedy Central Play UK Streaming Service

Comedy Central Play streaming service has been launched in the UK.

New streaming app Comedy Central, which brings together long-form episodic content, has been launched in the UK. Shows include Inside Amy Schumer, The Daily Show, Corporate, Most Ridiculous, Takeshi’s Castle and The Roast of Donald Trump.

 

The content will be made available first to Virgin TV customers who have subscribed to Comedy Central channels.

 

“Launching the Comedy Central Play app in the UK for the first time is an exciting move for us as it reflects our continued commitment to expanding our branded apps presence in the market,” said Arran Tindall, senior vice president of commercial and content distribution at parent company Viacom International Media Networks.

 

“We’re pleased to once again be joining forces with Virgin TV to provide their customers with access to long-form content on the Comedy Central Play app, giving them the choice and control they desire when viewing their favourite Comedy shows.”
