X Factor judge and Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole has achieved double chart success. Her debut solo album and its first single both hit the top spots in the UK charts.
Cole's song 'Fight For This Love' held onto the lead in the singles chart for a second week. It is the fastest-selling track of the year so far.
In an unexpected move, the singer's debut album '3 Words' entered the chart in the top spot, despite going up against Michael Jackson's final release - 'This Is It'.
The Official UK Charts Company said it was a "fabulous achievement" for Cole.

Spokesman Martin Talbot said: "3 Words now looks set to be one of the biggest albums of this coming Christmas."
Cole fended off new entries in the singles charts including the latest from Westlife (whose 'What About Now' came in second place) and Jay Sean.
Cole also, ironically, knocked off last year's X Factor winner Alexandra Burke in the process.
'This Is It', the soundtrack to the film about Jackson's tragic final concert rehearsals, was a new entry at number three.
