Coldplay are the latest band to make a guest appearance in the long-running TV show 'The Simpsons'.
According to reports, the storyline will see Homer Simpson win a million dollars on the lottery and hire the band to play a private gig for him and his son Bart
Executive producer Al Jean revealed that in the episode, the band are forced to stop playing "when Bart has to go to the bathroom".
A source said: "Chris recorded his part with Dan Castellaneta (the voice of Homer) last week. He had four lines to do and rattled them off. It was surreal hearing Homer and Chris talking but a really good laugh.
"Chris is the only one in the band with a speaking part, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He'll remember it forever and his kids will love it."
There have been many guest appearances from bands appearing in the animated show, including The White Stripes, U2 and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
The Coldplay episode will be aired in September which will be the show's 21st season.
